About SVRV Park

Scenic Valley RV Park is a small, family-run RV park offering 11 spacious, pull-through, full-hookup sites just outside Alamosa, Colorado. Our focus is on providing a quiet, easy-going campground for travelers who want reliable hookups, easy access, and a peaceful atmosphere. We strive to keep our sites clean, affordable and family friendly. Our goal is to make your reservation process simple and your trip to the San Luis Valley unforgettable.

Each Site Includes:

• Full hookups: water, sewer, electric, trash service, free WiFi
• Electric service: 30 amp, 50 amp & 110 outlet
• Level, easy-access, pull-through sites
• Suitable for virtually all RV sizes
• Pet friendly (leash required)
• No public restrooms….yet, but they are currently in the works

Explore the San Luis Valley

Scenic Valley RV Park is centrally located for exploring southern Colorado’s most unique landscapes. Outdoor recreation including fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, and access to the Rio Grande River are just outside your camper door.

Great Sand Dunes National Park

Towering dunes, hiking, sandboarding, and incredible night skies make this one of Colorado’s most memorable destinations. The largest Sand Dunes in North America are a short 30 min drive from SVRV.

Early Iron and other Festivals

Cole Park (a short 3 mile drive from SVRV) in Alamosa CO hosts many festivals throughout the year including the annual hot rod/classic car show Early Iron. Other festivals include SummerFest on the Rio/RioFest. Concerts and carnivals also frequent the park during the summer months.

Zapata Falls

A short hike leads to a stunning waterfall tucked into the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Winter months provide a photogenic frozen waterfall scene that is stunning to behold.

Alamosa

Enjoy local restaurants, grocery stores, fuel, and supplies just minutes from the park. Many small family owned restaurants, businesses, and breweries occupy main street.

Colorado Gators Reptile Park

Alligators in Colorado!? Take a 20 mile venture to the gator farm, where you can interact with the gators and other reptiles. Even hold a baby alligator!

Cattails Golf Course

A beautiful public 18-hole par-71 course. This course offers stunning views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The course features a traditional front nine and a more modern back nine with amenities such as a driving range, putting green, pro shop, cart rental, and the Knee Knockers Bar and Grille. The course is open seasonally (April-October)
